Independence Gold has drilled 2,500 meters so far at the 3Ts project, British Columbia – Resource World Magazine

Al-Istiklal Golden Company (TSXV: IGO; OTCCP: igkf; FRA: 625) provided an update on the 2026 ongoing drilling program at the 100% owned 3Ts gold-silver project, located in central British Columbia.

Located approximately 185 km southwest of Prince George, the 3Ts project comprises 31 mineral claims covering approximately 35,486 hectares in the Nechako Plateau region. The project is located 16 km southwest of Artemis Gold’s Blackwater Mine and hosts a low-sulfur quartz and carbonate refractory vein zone, where at least 19 known mineralized veins have been identified, ranging in length from 50 to over 1,100 meters and up to 32 meters in true width, of which 10 have not been tested by drilling. Many of the veins tested by drilling to date remain open along strike and at depth.

The company announced a significant update to the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the 3Ts gold and silver project in Q4 2025.

The indicated resources amount to 2,794,000 tons, grading 3.18 g/t of gold and 82.35 g/t of silver, compared to 4.22 g/t and 286,000 ounces of gold and 7,396.00 ounces of silver. Inferred resources are 2,962,000 tonnes grading 3.14 g/t gold, 73.27 g/t silver and 4.06 g/t AuEq for 299,000 oz gold and 6,978,000 oz silver.

Drilling highlights: Drilling of approximately 2,500 meters has been completed across multiple targets to date. The drilling company tested the veins of Johnny, Ian, Larry, Tommy and Dobby. Core sample recording and sampling continue, with the first core samples sent to the laboratory, while tests are awaited.

The 10,000 meter drilling program began in late March 2026 and is ongoing. As of April 30, 2026, a total of approximately 2,500 meters have been completed in 16 drill holes targeting both known vein systems and newly discovered geophysical and geochemical anomalies. The current program is designed to test extensions of known mineral structures to expand the resource, evaluate new target areas identified through geophysics and surface work, and expand the company’s understanding of the broader geological system. Drilling operations to date have intersected multiple zones of complexity, alteration and structural complexity across the project area.

Key observations from the optical core logging – Ian Vein System include: drilling cross-cut intervals of siliceous quartz breccia and quartz carbonate veins.

Larry Vein System: Multiple holes encountered quartz deposits and veins within complex volcanic and breccia sequences.

Dobie’s objective: to drill cross-reservoir veins, fault zones and intrusive joints, consistent with geophysical interpretations.

Tommy vein system: etching intersecting areas of silicates, hardening and venation at wide intervals.

Randy Turner, CEO, commented: “We are pleased with the progress of the current drilling program at 3Ts, with multiple targets being tested. With 25 percent of the program complete, we look forward to laboratory results that provide valuable information on drilling testing for resource expansion and untested geophysical and geochemical targets.”

All samples will continue to be submitted to independent laboratories for standard analytical testing, which will form the basis for any test results reported.

Independence Gold is a well-funded mineral exploration company whose holdings range from popular early-stage exploration to advanced-stage resource expansion in British Columbia and the Yukon.
