Copper Fox Metals Expands Metal Casing at Van Dyke ISCR Project, Arizona – Resource World Magazine


Copper Fox Metals Company (TSXV: CUU; OTCC: CPFXF; FSE: HPU), through Desert Fox Van Dyke Co. Its wholly-owned subsidiary has reported analytical results from a previously reported historic diamond drilling core sampling program to determine the limits of total soluble copper (TSCu) mineralization in certain drill holes at Van Dyke’s 100%-owned in situ copper recovery (ISCR) project located in the Globe-Miami Mining District, Gila County, Arizona.

Analytical results were received from eleven holes, eight of which were returned with intervals exceeding the maximum TSCu (0.025%) used in the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) update completed in 2020. Analytical highlights include:

HIGHLIGHTS: DDH OXY-42, intersecting a 100.59 m (336.19 to 436.78 m) core interval averaging 0.250% total copper (TCu) and 0.163% TSCu.

DDH OXY-42 includes a 22.86 m (337.72 to 360.58 m) core separator averaging 0.481% TCu and 0.409% TSCu.

These analytical results have better defined the boundaries between transition metal and sulfide domains in the Van Dyke deposits.

With eight of the eleven drill holes yielding analytical results higher than the 0.025% TSCu cutoff used in the 2020 MRE, the combination of these results and outstanding analytical results from eighteen additional holes indicates the potential for increased TSCu content in the Van Dyke deposit.”

Analytical results from eight historic diamond holes from the Van Dyke Project are reported in this press release. Analytical results from an additional 18 holes are awaiting review. The analytical results of economic interest are acid-soluble copper (ASCu) and cyanide-soluble copper (CNCu). The TSCu (acid soluble copper + cyanide) cutoff grade used in MRE for 2020 was 0.025%.

The weighted average grades for mineral separators reported in Table 1 used a TSCu cutoff of 0.025% and a maximum basic separation of five (5) meters of material below the mineral separator and/or missing samples within the mineral separator consistent with the MRE 2020 cut grade.

Sampling was completed in 2026 at DDH OXY-42 extending TSCu mineralization from 336.19 to 436.78 metres, an additional dip of 100.59 metres. The TSCu casing in this drill hole now extends from a core interval of 249.33 meters to 436.78 metres. The goal of the sampling program was to either fill data gaps identified in previous sampling programs or to expand the boundaries of the TSCu envelope to better define the boundaries between transitional copper and sulfide domains within the Van Dyke deposit. Analytical results for the three drill holes yielded cut-off copper concentrations (0.025% TSCu).

Copper Fox and its subsidiaries own 100% of the Van Dyke ISCR Project, a development stage and potential near-term medium-sized copper mine in Arizona and a 25% interest in the Schaft Creek joint venture with Teck Resources Limited (75% interest and operator) that hosts the Schaft Creek copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.

In addition, Copper Fox owns 100% of the Eaglehead Resource Stage multi-metallic porphyry copper project in northwest British Columbia and the Sombrero Butte and Mineral Mountain advanced exploration stage porphyry copper projects located in the prolific Laramide age copper province in Arizona.
