In its latest weekly report, shipbroker Banchero Costa said that in the newbuild market, “In the bulk sector, Chinese shipbuilder New Dayang Shipbuilding has secured an order for a 6 x 63,050 dwt bulk carrier (Crown 63 Plus design) from Turkish owner Ciner Shipping. The price for each vessel is $34 million. Delivery for all is in September 2027. In the tanker sector, UAE-based Gulf Energy Marine has booked UNITED 6 At a cost of $42.15 million per vessel for trade in the Asia-Pacific region, with delivery in December 2019.
