The FIGSS development forms part of FIRST E&P’s offshore gas infrastructure program within PML 53 and PML 54 in the Niger Delta region.

MCS Group’s scope includes the installation of a 22 km, 10′ subsea pipeline using the NOV Tubscope Zap-Lok mechanical interference connection.

According to the UAE company, the pipeline will be installed using the Modular Piping System (MPS+), deployed from MPL’s DP3 construction ship.

Project management and engineering will be carried out between MCS Group’s office in Cairo, Egypt and MPL’s office in Lagos, Nigeria.
