Golden Cross Resources Company (TSXV: to; OTCCP: ZCRMF; Drilling activities have resumed in the Aurora area in Australia, following the successful completion of a trial geophysical survey by the company, FSE (ZMLO) reported.
The survey has provided the company with a better understanding of the depth and extent of historic workings at Aurora, enhancing its ability to target deeper mineral structures beneath previously mined areas.
As drilling continues at Aurora, the company is also developing geophysical programs across additional areas of the Reedy Creek Project, starting with the Prince of Wales and Welcome Reef areas, to optimize and prioritize future drilling targets.
This next phase of targeted drilling will include approximately 3,000 meters of diamond drilling, supported by the results of the company’s geophysical programs, including induced polarization and magnetic surveys, as well as ongoing work across other high-impact, high-grade gold prospects at Reedy Creek. Exercise results from the current program will continue to help guide and improve the objectives of subsequent exercises. The campaign is expected to be completed early in the fourth quarter.
Golden Cross Resources is focused on developing the Reedy Creek gold project in Victoria, Australia. Located just 10km from the Sunday Creek discovery at Southern Cross Gold, the project covers two adjacent blocks in one of Australia’s most active gold corridors.
