Access to Subsea charters for Solstad for a 2+1 contract in the Black Sea


Norwegian company Reach Subsea has been awarded a contract with an undisclosed company for inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and light construction services in the Black Sea.

The two-year contract has been signed with a lessee that will provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV)-based subsea operations, construction support and field services to “Reputable end customer in the region” It includes a one-year extension option, according to Reach Subsea.

As the local contractor partner, the lessee will support implementation in coordination with the end customer and comply with local regulatory and operational requirements.

The signing of the contract follows the previously announced letter of intent.

In this regard, Reach Subsea has finalized the agreement with Solstad Maritime for the Normand Jarstein charter, which is currently mobilizing in the Black Sea for the project where it will support contract operations.
