Thibault & Associates has been acquired by TrajectorE Engineering, a consulting firm based in Saint John.
The deal brings founder J. Dean Thibault to trajectorE as Senior Technical Advisor for Operations, where he will support knowledge transfer and contribute to customer projects.
“After more than four decades in this industry, it is important to see this business continue and continue to create value,” Thibault said. “TrajectorE has built a strong reputation in process-focused engineering and I look forward to supporting the team and contributing to the next generation of projects.”
TrajectorE said the acquisition will enhance its engineering capabilities across complex flow schedules for extraction and refining operations. The company works with mining companies and mineral processors from early studies through operational readiness.
“I am very excited to once again collaborate with Dean and add his extensive experience in the mining industry as well as his brilliance in hydrometallurgical process development to the trajectorE brand,” said Don Stevens, TrajectorE’s Chief Operating Officer. “Dean’s experience in developing hydrological processes is exceptional. Having worked with him earlier in my career, I have seen first-hand the level of insight and innovation he brings.”
The deal gives trajectorE access to proprietary technical know-how, historical flow table designs, and decades of work in process development. The company said the expanded knowledge base will support customers in improving production.
