Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. announces delivery of LNG carrier “Agamemnon”


Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. announced (NASDAQ: CCEC), an international ocean-going vessel owner (“Company,” “CCEC,” “we,” or “us”), today announced that it has successfully taken delivery of the LNG Carrier (“LNG/C”) “Agamemnon.”

Following delivery on 17 June 2026, LNG/C Agamemnon (HD Hyundai Samho Co., Ltd., 174,000 cfm) has commenced her previously announced time charter with a major energy company until March 2027. Upon completion of this charter, the vessel will commence, at the company’s option, either the long-term charter originally assigned to LNG/C Athlos or the long-term charter assigned to LNG/C Athlos Archon, with periods Fixed terms of five and seven years, respectively, each including an additional five-year option at the lessee’s discretion.

The LNG/C Agamemnon acquisition was financed using cash on hand as well as a new $216.0 million secured bridge loan facility. This facility will be refinanced in July 2026 upon the drawing of the eight-year JOLCO facility in the amount of $216.0 million.

Agamemnon is the 14th generation of the latest generation LNG/C to be delivered to the company. The CCEC fleet under construction also includes seven additional latest generation LNG carriers, scheduled for delivery between the third quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2029.
