Ethereum Foundation Co-CEO Hsiao-Wei Wang has stepped down

Wang’s departure adds to a growing list of high-profile exits from the Ethereum Foundation this year.

Hsiao-Wei Wang has resigned from the position of Co-CEO and Board Member of the Ethereum Foundation following the end of her sabbatical.

Vitalik Buterin praised her role in shaping Ethereum’s research culture and building the ecosystem’s community.

“Following my leave, I have decided to step down as Co-CEO and Board Member of the Ethereum Foundation effective today,” she wrote.

She revealed that Bastian Uy, another executive in the organization, had supervised the transition process while she was on leave. Commenting on her time at the organization, Wang said she was proud of what the community had achieved and credited the builders, researchers, educators, auditors, users and other contributors who support the network for its continued growth.
