Føn Energy Services Poland has signed a multi-million euro long-term agreement with the joint venture between Orlen Group and Northland Power to provide integrated operation and maintenance services for the 1.2 GW Baltic Power offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic Sea.
Under the agreement, Føn Energy Services will provide a Balance of Plant (BoP) operation and maintenance program covering all subsea assets at the offshore wind farm, including foundations and cables. The multi-year contract, which includes extension options, also includes environmental monitoring activities focused on marine growth and animal habitats.
The scope includes inspection and corrective maintenance services, project management and planning, ship chartering and management, logistics, engineering and procurement. Føn said it would work with local Polish suppliers in providing the services.
