According to a press release, Pipiault will participate in a panel discussion on “Accelerating the Formalization of Artisanal Miners.” It is expected to demonstrate how Makore’s portfolio in Zambia contributes to national economic development and the broader global battery materials push.
In 2025Copper production in Zambia grew by 8%, but the country failed to reach pre-set production targets. The government currently plans to increase copper production from 890,346 tons last year to 3 million tons by 2031.
