American Pacific Mining (CSE: USGD) The company announced the arrival of a second drilling rig at the Madison Copper and Gold Project in Montana to support testing of near-surface Skarn targets.
The new drill is a reverse circulation (RC) drilling rig, a machine designed for high-efficiency sampling by forcing compressed air into the hole to remove contamination during operations. The regional center is part of the ongoing, fully funded, 15,000-meter program that began in early June. In addition to the surface skarn targets, the campaign is also testing deeper porphyry-style mineralization.
This project puts the company in a position to deliver consistent results through the summer, demonstrating the “true size” of the system, said Eric Saderhomme, American Pacific’s managing director of exploration. “If we are successful in expanding known mineralization and channeling it into a larger copper-gold system, we believe Madison has the potential to become a foundational asset that can deliver meaningful value for our shareholders.”
American Pacific is a western US precious metals and base metals exploration company with prior copper and gold production projects and a portfolio of exploration and development assets in the region.
