62,150 Americans Warned After ‘Unauthorized Party’ Breached Houston Healthcare Company – Personal, Health Records Likely Exposed


A pediatric health and primary care company says hackers hit its network and stole its files, potentially exposing patient data.

According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, the breach occurred at Bluefish Pediatric Hospital, based in Houston, Texas Effects 62,150 people.

The company says an unauthorized entity gained access to its computer systems and stole files that may include patient information such as full names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license and/or state identification numbers, medical record numbers, diagnostic/case records, lab results, health care claims and other information.

“On or about July 17, 2025, an unauthorized party accessed our computer systems. Upon discovering the unauthorized activity, we immediately contained the incident and began an immediate and comprehensive investigation. As part of our investigation, we engaged leading cybersecurity experts to determine what personal information, if any, existed.”
