Erez, A company specializing in separation technology, announced that its B‑HC high capacity electromagnetic vibrating feeders have achieved ETL listing for CSA and UL compliance and achieved an IP65 rating – a rating that confirms dust and water-resistant performance in harsh processing environments.
The certifications “validate the durability customers have already experienced in the field,” said Clay Odana, global product manager for vibratory equipment at Eriez. Adding, “Operators now have an added layer of confidence that these feeders can meet any challenge.”
The B-HC line is capable of delivering controlled quantities ranging from just a few kilograms to more than 1,000 tons of bulk material per hour. The feeders use an Eriez rare earth permanent magnet motor assembly for precise linear control and an epoxy-coated coil to protect against dust and moisture. The design eliminates sliding and rotating parts, reducing friction losses, energy use and maintenance requirements, Erez says.
