Compass wire cloth Completed its acquisition of Sefar Corporation’s inspection division in Gray, Georgia, expanding the company’s manufacturing footprint in the southeastern United States.
The North American separation and screening technology manufacturer closed the deal on March 31, 2026, and now operates the Round Ring Screen business alongside its Georgia facility and workforce.
The Gray operation adds specialized pre-tension manufacturing capabilities to complement Compass Wire Cloth’s existing New Jersey production. Company officials expect a presence in the Southeast to reduce response times, lower shipping costs and meet growing demand from vibrating separator customers, regional distributors and OEM partners.
Compass Wire Cloth will continue to manage all orders, customer service and coordination through its New Jersey headquarters to maintain consistent communications and service nationwide. The company expects that current orders will not be interrupted during the transition from Safar.
The Georgia facility will manufacture circular tensile screens and related inspection solutions for manufacturing operations in the Southeast under the Compass Wire Cloth brand. Product quality, specifications and service levels remain unchanged.

The Gray facility operated as a specialist manufacturer of circular tension screens before joining the Compass Wire Cloth network with its experienced team of employees. Compass Wire Cloth maintains its location in New Jersey as its central operations and customer support center.
