For Goliat, OneSubsea’s scope covers the design and delivery of gas export capabilities for the Goliat FPSO, and support for the Goliat gas export project, which is described as a major step in enhancing the Barents Sea’s contribution to European gas supplies through connectivity to the Snøhvit and Melkøya LNG systems.

The second contract, under the Balder Next New Wells project, includes four well systems on single-enclosure satellite configurations and associated umbilical systems.

The awards include OneSubsea’s business lines for subsea production, cables and processing systems, including the supply of multi-stage meters.

“These awards are a symbol of what our partnership with Vår Energi enables.” He said Mads HelmelandCEO of SLB OneSubsea. “Going from feasibility study to contract award in just a matter of months can only be achieved through close cooperation and mutual trust built within the partnership. We are proud to continue our work with Vår Energi across both projects to unlock greater value, accelerate development and implement innovative solutions to maximize recovery.”
