The immigration software provider has just disclosed a data breach affecting 116,666 people.
DocketWise He says It detected unauthorized access to login credentials associated with a third-party partner repository, according to a filing with the Maine Attorney General’s Office.
The incident occurred on September 1, 2025 and was discovered on February 19, 2026.
The information exposed includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and government IDs.
“An investigation found that an unauthorized person used valid credentials to access and copy partner repositories related to the DocketWise data migration, exposing unregulated law firm client data, including some personal details.”
DocketWise is a platform used by US immigration professionals to manage legal cases and client records, meaning the data exposed largely relates to law firm clients and related individuals.
This breach has prompted an investigation by Edelson Lechtzin LLP, which is exploring potential legal claims on behalf of affected individuals.
