
Free Gold (TSX:FVL) Additional training results from the Alaska Gold Summit program have been released. The stock rose 7% in early trading.
Highlights include holes GS2613 and GS2617 which were drilled in the North Dolphin Zone, through the center of the dolphin’s mineralized body. GS2617 cut 218.5 meters and intersected 70.8 meters grading 1.33 grams per tonne gold. Meanwhile, GS2613 returned 33.7 meters of 1.59 grams per tonne gold from 452 meters within a wide zone of mineralization.
Golden Summit is a large near-surface gold system north of Fairbanks, containing more than 7.25 million ounces of historic alluvial and vein production and an identified resource covering only a small portion of the 13 x 6 km Freegold property. Ongoing drilling and mineral testing supports the 2027 pre-feasibility study (PFS).
Freegold shares rose 7.14% to 98 cents on Tuesday in Toronto, valuing the company at about C$568.1 million.
