Petronas Carigali, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas company Petronas, has outsourced its gas project to Petra Resources Sdn. Bhd. (PRSB), a subsidiary of Petra Energy Berhad (PEB).

The company announced a deal to provide offshore maintenance, construction and modification (MCM) and commissioning and commissioning (HUC) services at PanMalaysia offshore for Package C3 – Sarawak Asset (SKA) in January 2026.
Petra Resources has now received and accepted four work orders dated 1 December 2025, 22 January 2026 and 30 January 2026 from Petronas to provide HUC services for Bintulu Integrated Facilities Refurbishment (BIF) Phase 2 project, with a total value of RM298 million ($75.07 million).
These work orders entail providing procurement (bulk items), engineering, construction and commissioning activities for the BIF Renovation Project, Phase II.
Petronas is actively working on multiple projects to increase its hydrocarbon arsenal, as evidenced by the deal it concluded. Thank you To OceanSTAR for the lease, operation and maintenance of the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit.
