Scout Resources (TSXV:SCLT) has received a two-year surface drilling and exploration permit from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for its Robinson Creek gold project. The property is located approximately 10 miles west of Creighton, Saskatchewan and Flin Flon, Manitoba.
The company plans to conduct surface exploration at Robinson Creek during the summer of 2026, followed by drilling based on field work results and historical drilling data. The summer program will include exploration and geological mapping activities, as well as an assessment of changes in project access and surface exposure caused by wildfires in the summer of 2025.
The project covers three distinct gold zones
The Robinson Creek Gold Project consists of two claims covering an area of 2.9 km², located approximately 15 km northwest of Searchlight’s Bootleg Lake Gold Claims. The property represents a structurally controlled mesothermal gold system consisting of three gold zones – Vein, Bleiler and Quartz zones – extending over a strike length of approximately 1 km along the Mosher Sheer Lake area.

The initial exploration target is up to three million tons
The company has set an initial exploration target of between two million and three million tonnes grading between 1.20 g/t and 1.60 g/t gold. Management considers the deposit to be amenable to open-pit mining methods. The property is located 16 km west of Creighton, Saskatchewan and Flin Flon, Manitoba, and 15 km from Searchlight’s Bootleg Lake Brownfield Mine site.
Historical data shows widespread gold mineralization
Searchlight has compiled 70 historic drill holes totaling 9,618 meters from exploration programs conducted in the 1940s and 1980s. Historical drill holes and geophysical surveys identify a zone of mineralization extending at least 1,000 meters along the Mosher Shire Lake area. Airborne magnetic surveys have recently demonstrated additional exploration potential along the strike zone and south of known areas.
Historical digging shows strong gold crosses across the property. 60 drill holes recorded gold intersections greater than 1.0 g/t gold, while 45 holes recorded gold intersections exceeding 2.0 g/t gold over at least 1 metre.
