Global Consulting Group listed in Oslo Aqualis, formerly ABL Group, has completed the acquisition of SynergenOG, a Malaysia-based energy industry process safety and technical risk management consultancy.
Complete Aquales acquisition 100% of SynergenOG shares, which will be combined with its design and engineering arm, Longitude. The move expands the company’s comprehensive technical offering in process safety and technical risk management, while significantly enhancing its presence across the Asia Pacific region.
Longitude gains broader regional reach and additional capacity to support clients across the broader offshore and onshore energy and infrastructure markets in the Asia-Pacific region, with a SynergenOG team of 45 consultants in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and India.

This acquisition also gives the Aqualis subsidiary a new in-country presence in Brunei and strengthens its growing facilities and subsea engineering business, building on its proven track record in asset integrity management.
