Bitcoin integration among the world’s largest banks and financial institutions has reached a remarkable average of nearly a third.
The latest indicator from Bitcoin Treasury Strategy Sizes It has been adopted by 32% across the top 25 banking and financial services players.
Fidelity has the highest level of integration at 71%, confirming its advanced approach compared to its peers.
The report, published on July 14, provides a clear snapshot of current trends.
It focuses on measurable steps such as custody services, trading capabilities, and product offerings associated with Bitcoin.
Industry observers note that this average indicates growing comfort with Bitcoin as a major asset.
Banks appear to be moving from the initial exploration stage to practical implementation.
“Big banks’ investment in Bitcoin is accelerating, but it’s still early: the index’s overall score is 32%,” said Michael Saylor, Head of Strategy.
The index assesses depth across four categories including trading and custody services, product offerings such as spot ETFs, digital asset-backed lending, and executive-level support for blockchain solutions.
Fidelity leads thanks to its early start with Fidelity Digital Assets in 2018 and a full suite of services including its own spot Bitcoin ETF.
Other major US banks, such as BNY and Goldman Sachs, recorded gains ranging from 45% to 46%, while Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley recorded gains of 43%.
Asian banks including SMBC and Royal Bank of Canada trailed at the bottom with just 13%.
