July 27, 2026 – Panama City, Panama
ImkdA global crypto fintech platform and one of the world’s largest Bitcoin mining pools has announced the launch of its Miner Support Program, providing eligible miners with access to up to $30 million* in funding, fee relief and partner benefits.
The program is being launched against a challenging backdrop. Bitcoin’s hashrate — the main measure of mining revenue per unit of computing — has fallen to roughly $28 per PH per day, a 50% decline from its peak in October 2025 and an all-time low after the halving, according to CoinShares data for Q1 2026. An estimated 252 EH/s were taken offline (according to Hashrate Index data, cited in CoinCentral, April 2026). Operators using older generation devices find that margins are no longer applicable. Three consecutive negative difficulty adjustments, the first such series since July 2022, signal widespread capitulation across the sector. EMCD, which has operated its mining pool since 2017 and processed more than 4,550 bitcoins mined by its users in 2025, sees the current period as a stress test and a structural opportunity for operators that remain active.
Program structure
With margins compressed across the industry, EMCD has put in place a concrete response: restructuring fees, negotiating hardware and infrastructure deals, and opening access to liquidity and returns products – a toolkit built on how mining companies actually operate, and available to operators in any region.
Miners facing cash flow pressures can access EMCD’s guaranteed liquidity facilities at an annual rate of 3.9% – to cover operating costs without selling assets in a down market. Unlike general cryptocurrency-backed lines of credit, EMCD products are built around mining cash flow cycles and are bundled with the rest of the software, so the actual cost of capital is lowered more when combined with fee mitigation and hardware provision rather than judged on price alone.
Those looking to protect margins on each block can apply for a zero commission for 60 days, which reduces overhead while keeping the hashrate low. Miners using outdated or underperforming hardware can get preferential pricing on Vnish firmware – the market-leading third-party ASIC optimization software. Those looking to expand or move capabilities can access special terms related to equipment and data center services through the EMCD partner network.
Partners’ participation
EMCD invites hardware manufacturers, data centers and hosting providers to join the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners. Partner applications can be submitted on the website: https://support-miners.emcd.io/.
“We’ve been through every cycle in this industry since 2017 – rallies, winters, forks. What we’ve learned is that the operators who survive are not the ones who wait for the downturns. They are the ones who use them. This program is our commitment to making sure our miners have the tools to do exactly that.” — Michael Gerlis, Founder and CEO of EMCD.
*The amount stated reflects the maximum total value of support (including financing, fee reductions and partner offers) that may be made available under the Program and does not constitute a reserved fund.
