Explosives Safety Training Returns at RAM – Canadian Mining Magazine

Ram Companyan explosives engineering firm specializing in blast safety, has announced the dates for this year’s Blast and Explosives Safety Training (BEST) course held at Crazy Horse Memorial in Crazy Horse, South Dakota. The sessions will be held from September 15 to 17.

According to RAM, the best course will train attendees in explosives regulations, hazard recognition and accident prevention. Trainers will also demonstrate how to safely handle blasting systems, with an emphasis on the dangers posed by spoiled explosives.

“Safety is a primary driving factor in the mining industry, and recognizing risk is key to promoting workplace safety. Our best course has been developed specifically to improve the recognition and response to hazardous situations, so everyone can return home safely every day,” said Robert McClure, RAM President and our Best Trainer.
