Founders Metals has extracted 12.95 g/t gold at a depth of 6.0 metres, confirming the high-grade gold potential at the Antino Gold Project, Suriname.

Mineral Founders (TSXV: Roosevelt; OTCC: Fdmiv; FSE: 9DL0) reported high-grade gold results from the lower Antino target at its Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname, South America. Results include 6.0 meters of 12.95 g/t gold, a significant high-grade discovery in the lower Anteno zone, while continued systematic drilling expands the mineralized system along strike.

Colin Padgett, President and CEO, commented: “6.0 meters of 12.95 g/t gold at LA060 is an important result for Lower Antino. While the system consistently delivers extensive, low-grade mineralization, this intersection indicates the presence of a high-grade component, a property we have been actively testing. Additional drilling on this release continues to increase the mineralized extent of Lower Antino, and we will incorporate these results into our geological models to better define the geometry and continuity of mineralization as the program progresses.”

Highlights: High-grade drilling confirmed near surface in the Lower Antino zone confirms the presence of a high-grade component within the tonalite-hosted gold system: 6.0m of 12.95 g/t Au of 55.0m (LA060). The intersection of mineralization extends approximately 250 meters west of the nearest previous drilling.

Continued systematic drilling is expanding the mineralized system through extensive intercepts along strike. Drilling to the east confirms continued growth of the mineralized system (LA055, LA056); A 200m step to the south intersected intrusion-hosted mineralization with 18.0m of 0.68 g/t grading 59.1m (LA054).

The westernmost hole in this release, LA060, intersected 6.0 meters of 12.95 g/t gold from a depth of 55.0 metres, providing the highest quality composite interval returned from the Lower Antino drilling to date and the mineralization extends approximately 250 meters to the west. This result confirms the presence of a high-grade shear-related component within the broader tonalite-hosted gold system, consistent with previously reported high-grade historical channel results and grab samples, but not yet confirmed by drilling.

Systematic grading drilling to the east and south continues to expand the mineral footprint. Holes LA055 and LA056 confirm extensive and consistent gold mineralization along the strike line to the east, while LA054 intersected gold mineralization at a 200 meter step to the south. Truncated and altered tonalite intrusions have been observed in multiple holes with checks suspended between known mineral passages. Holes LA051 and LA052, the farthest southern holes in the Lower Antino to date, are interpreted to have been drilled east of the tonalite mineral bodies.

Lower Antino is one of two advanced targets within Founders’ 102,360-hectare contiguous land package, which hosts eight drill-tested gold targets across the 55km Antino concession. The company currently has four diamond drilling rigs operating in Antino, with two in Antino North, one in Upper Antino, and one in Lower Antino, with results awaited at all locations. The company will continue to systematically advance its highest priority objectives across the region.

The intervals are the depths of the hole. The true width of mineralization is estimated at approximately 85% of the downhole interval based on currently available results and observations.

Founders Metals is building a district-wide gold camp in southeastern Suriname. The Company controls a contiguous land package of 102,360 hectares in the Guyana Shield, the largest continuous package of highly promising greenstone belt geology in the region. The founders are supported by strategic partnerships with Gold Fields and B2Gold and are implementing one of the most active exploration programs in the global junior gold sector.
