Hackers reportedly drained $6 million from DeFi protocol Summer.fi


Summer.fi has reportedly been exploited, with nearly $6 million drained so far. Blockaid flagged the exploit in a post on X on Monday.

The security company published the attacker’s address, exploit nodes, and affected Lazy Summer contracts.

Security firm PeckShield identified the main affected vault as LazyVault_LowerRisk_USDC (LVUSDC), which is managed by risk firm Block Analitica. Company He said that the basement The APY offered briefly rose to around 2.08 million%.

“The largest current holder is 0x8741e8f…4130, which appears to be associated with Torben Jorgensen (UDHC), and he has deposited approximately US$8.6 million in this vault,” the post read.

Summer.fi, formerly known as Oasis.app, is the front-end for the Lazy Summer Protocol, an on-chain storage system that automatically routes deposits through DeFi revenue streams like Aave and Morpho.

The network’s native token SUMR was trading near $0.00193, down 5.3% over 24 hours. The move differed from the broader market, which rose more than 1% on the day.
