Prospect Ridge Resources Corporation (“Prospect Ridge” or the “Company”) (CSE: BRR) (Over-the-counter: PRRSF) (FRA: OED) is developing a catalyst-rich 2026 exploration season through planned exploratory drilling programs at both the Excalibur and Camelot copper-gold projects in British Columbia and planned targeted development work at the Castle copper-gold porphyry project in Toodoggone (Figure 1).
Highlights of the 2026 exploration program:
- size: High priority magnetic and chargeability targets identified through ground geophysical survey in 2025 and supported by highly anomalous copper and gold values in the soil are scheduled to be tested through a 3,000m discovery-focused inaugural drilling program in the summer of 2026. A multi-year area-based drilling permit (“MYAB”) is expected shortly.
- Camelot: Drilling results from 2025 provide vectors for potential mineralized porphyry centres, and drone-based LiDAR and magnetic surveys are being conducted to support target refinement for a planned 2,000m follow-on drilling program in Q2/Q3 2026. A multi-year drilling permit (“MYAB”) is in progress.
- fort: Machine learning-based satellite hyperspectral alteration mapping is nearing completion to support a gridded rock sampling program designed to target alkaline mineral centres. Sampling will be completed in parallel with a 3D IP survey to identify high priority drilling targets. The process of obtaining a multi-year drilling permit (“MYAB”) to support the 2027 drilling test is now underway.
Len Brownlee, Ph.D., President and CEO of Prospect Ridge, commented:
“Prospect Ridge enters 2026 with a new team, three impressive projects, and exceptional momentum. Last year’s programs delivered compelling copper and gold targets across multiple projects, highlighted by the discovery of a new copper-gold system at Camelot and the identification of a large-scale, multi-center target at Excalibur. With funding in excess of $2.0M, multiple near-term drilling catalysts, and a market capitalization of less than $6M, we believe the company is uniquely positioned to deliver significant discovery-driven torque.”
Exploration plans 2026
Excalibur – a widespread target made of copper and gold
Accessible road, 28 km2 The Excalibur property is located in British Columbia’s prolific Babin porphyry belt near the past producing Huckleberry, Bell and Granisle mines. The property hosts an attractive 1km x 2km magnetic target and potential charge that coincides with a large copper-gold soil anomaly.1 (Figure 2).
Prospect Ridge has completed all archaeological, wildlife and additional permitting work required to support the planned 3,000m exploratory drilling program and expects final MYAB permit approval in the coming weeks.
Camelot – Caribou Discovery Tracking Program
In 2025, Prospect Ridge acquired 100% of its shares.2 Interest in the 26-square-kilometre Camelot property, located adjacent to Imperial Metals’ Mount Polley mine and surrounded by the Vizsla Copper Woodjam property in the Cariboo Mining District, British Columbia3 (Figure 3). The initial exploration program intersected what could be the edge of a new copper-gold porphyry system, with follow-up modeling identifying vectors for high-temperature change and mineralization. CAM25-009 returned from initial training campaign Copper and gold anomaly along the core 157 metres 0.1 g/t gold and 0.1% copper are graded starting at the top of the rock below the overlying cap. The variable mineralogy and IP geophysics are consistent with an interpretation that drilling intersects the margin of the porphyry system. Importantly, all 10 holes returned outlier values for copper and gold, supporting the size of the system across the property. Au-to-Cu ratios, determined through core testing, show a positive 1:1 correlation between gold (g/t) and copper (%) grades, and confirm that gold may represent a meaningful by-product of copper mining.3.
In May, the company commenced a facility-wide LiDAR and magnetic drone survey that is expected to enhance drilling target optimization ahead of a follow-on drilling program later in Q2/Q3 2026. In June, the focused core review now underway is expected to provide additional detailed targeting insights (Figure 4).
Recent Announcements from Imperial Metals Corporation (Mount Polly)5Vizsla Copper Company (Woodgum Project)6 and Inomin Mines Inc./Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada Ltd. (Beaver/Lynx)7 Exploratory drilling campaigns in projects surrounding Camelot indicate increasing exploration momentum throughout the region and highlight growing recognition of the region’s discovery potential.
Castle – Toodoggone Porphyry’s emerging target
In the 29 km2 castle area of the prospective Toodoggone mining camp, Prospect Ridge continues to advance a large alkaline porphyry target beneath an altered and intensely seeped (lithocap) zone associated with concurrent magnetism, chargeability, copper and gold in the soil anomalies.4 (Figure 5).
Current and planned work includes:
- Machine learning-based satellite hyperspectral alteration mapping by ALS Goldspot is nearing completion and will be used to map alteration minerals associated with porphyry copper-gold mineralization and identify geological domains prior to fieldwork.
- A gridded rock sampling, spectroscopy, and rock imaging program designed to determine footprints and vectors toward cores of mineralized alkali porphyry.
- Distributed array IP scanning to better identify specific chargeable areas related to sulphide mineralization and assist in identifying high-quality drilling targets.
The company has applied for a MYAB drilling permit in preparation for the 2027 drilling program on the highest priority targets.
Funded with multiple incentives 2026
Subject to permit approvals and weather conditions, Prospect Ridge expects to begin drilling at Excalibur during the early summer of 2026, followed by additional exploration activities across its broader portfolio and a follow-on Camelot drilling campaign in Q2/Q3.
With active exploration across three major projects, multiple high-priority targets, and strong technical momentum, Prospect Ridge is positioned for a transformative year in 2026.

Figure 2 – Cross sections showing 2D inversions of chargeability (top panel), resistivity (middle panel) and magnetism (bottom panel) across an Excalibur target. The zone of moderate chargeability and concurrent magnetism is interpreted as a porphyry-style drilling target, with rocks of high chargeability to the west interpreted as a pyrite-rich granular halo. The lack of a pyrite halo in the east can be attributed to a fault identified between the Skeena sedimentary rocks and the Kasalka volcanics in the east.
