Aris Mining, a Vancouver-based gold production company, has placed another order for underground mining equipment from Sandvik. These machines will support the company’s gold operations in Segovia, Antioquia, Colombia.
According to Sandvik, an order has been booked for the second quarter of 2026, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in July. Financial details were not disclosed.
This order is based on the company’s existing relationship with Ares, said Ricardo Pachon Mantilla, vice president of Andean and Southern Cone sales at Sandvik. “Our priority is to continue to support Aris Mining throughout its growth and expansion, demonstrating the strength of our partnership through quality, commitment and reliability, while continuing to strengthen our long-term business relationship,” Mantilla said.
Aris’ Segovia operation is one of the highest quality underground gold mines in the world, with a reserve grade of approximately 10.7 g/t. The company produced more than 200,000 oz. of gold from the site in 2025 and says it expects annual production to rise to between 265,000 and 300,000 ounces. In the coming years.
