Stellar Gold Company (TSX: Stellar; OTCC: STLRF; FSE: O9D) announced additional test results from the 2026 drilling program at the Johnpool deposit on the Garrison property of the Tower Gold Project at Timmins Mining Camp, northern Ontario, Canada.
Gunpool Deposit Drill Highlights for 2026: Hole MGA26-265 returned 10.10 g/t Au (uncut)/6.68 g/t Au (cut) over 5.57 meters (3.68 m TT) and 2.55 g/t Au (uncut)/2.35 g/t Au (cut) over 19.70 meters (13.01 m). TT), including 20.22 g/t Au (uncut)/18.07 g/t Au (cut) over 1.84 meters (1.22 meters TT).
Hole MGA26-262 returned 3.37 g/t Au (uncut)/3.35 g/t Au (cut) over 14.53 m (10.25 m TT), including 10.60 g/t Au over 0.36 m (0.25 m TT) and 9.10 g/t Au (uncut)/9.03 g/t Au (cut) over 4.55 m (3.21 m TT).
MGA26-264 returned 2.07 g/t Au over 19.00 m (11.19 m TT), including 12.11 g/t Au over 2.25 m (1.33 m TT) and
1.85 g/t Au over 18.00 m (10.53 m TT).
“We continue to deliver high-quality near-surface results at Jonpol, demonstrating its upside potential as an important value driver for the Tower Gold Project,” said Kevan Salehi, Engineer, MBA, President, CEO and Director of STLLR. “The drilling data we have collected this year indicates an open-hole extension at Gunpool of approximately 1,200 meters at potentially above-average grades. Importantly, the higher open-hole grades at Gunpool have the potential to enhance Tower’s production profile and overall economics.”
The Garrison Property’s Jonpol Deposit is located at the eastern end of the tower along the Monroe Fault, an extension of the regional Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone (DPFZ). Mineralization is hosted in structurally controlled alteration zones within mafic to ultramafic rocks and gold mineralization is closely associated with felsic intrusive rocks.
The 2026 drilling programme, with an estimated 8,000 meters of drilling planned for the first half of the year (STLR is currently finalizing plans for the second half of the year), is designed to achieve two main objectives:
Strike Extension: The majority of the 2026 measurements target the western extension of the open pit mineralization at Gunpool. Successful results here could expand the strike range from 400 meters as currently specified in the initial economic evaluation of the tower to approximately 1,200 metres. Johnbull stays open along the strike and at depth.
Drilling and Derisking: The drilling program is also designed to confirm the block model and support potential expansion of high-grade mineralization to be incorporated into the tower’s mineral resource estimate.
These additional tests continue to intersect high-grade near-surface mineralization in targeted areas along the western strike extension. Notably, these results yielded grades exceeding the current average open pit grades at Gunpool in the MRE tower, indicating potential for mineral resource expansion. These results continue to confirm the current geological model, supporting the potential expansion of high-grade mineralization.
STLR Gold Inc. operates On the development of high-potential gold projects in Canada: the Tower Gold Project and the Hollinger Tailings Project at the Timmins Mining Camp in Ontario and the Colomac Gold Project north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Both Tower and Colomac have the potential to become large-scale, long-lived operations and are surrounded by exploration territory with favorable upside potential. Hollinger has the potential to create value in the near term.
