The 2012-built Eidesvik has been lined up with Aker BP for several years


Norwegian offshore vessel owner Eidesvik Offshore has strengthened its relationship with Aker BP, a national oil and gas company, with a new deal enabling one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs) to secure a long-term assignment with the Norwegian operator.

Eidesvik Offshore has entered into a framework agreement with Aker BP to provide the PSV, which has a term of four years and comes with the option of two additional terms of two years each.

The new deal, which continues the strategic cooperation between the two companies first established in 2019, allows the Norwegian vessel owner to obtain a fixed three-year contract with additional extension options for the 2012-built vessel. Eindhoven Viking Prince.

The mission is scheduled to begin in direct continuation of the ship’s current a contract. The PSV was upgraded with a hybrid battery and shore power system in January 2022.

This deal comes weeks after Eidesvik Acquired An extension of another vessel operating for Equinor on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
