The WIND Group has signed a long-term agreement with Smålandshamnar to establish a dedicated yard in the Port of Oscarshamn, where it will expand its presence in the Baltic region and support its customer base with cable transportation, warehousing, cable equipment supply and a range of marine related services.

According to the Dutch company, the Port of Oscarshamn is ideally suited to accommodate all relevant vessels and facilitate efficient ship-to-ship cable transfers thanks to its 435-metre quay and minimum water depth of 10.3 metres.

“The establishment of our new center in Oskarshamn represents an important step in the expansion of WIND’s activities in the Baltic region.” He said Tom NoeCEO of WIND.

“By bringing together capabilities across the entire WIND group, we can offer customers a comprehensive range of services, including carousel chartering, logistics and organisation, along with equipment supply, maintenance and vessel packing services through our colleagues at Draftec. This integrated approach and our new position enhance our ability to support offshore projects with efficient and reliable solutions.”
