But the scope expanded after Worthington began making frequent filming trips with Billy’s team, first in Puerto Rico, where early discussions about taking the company public — at that point still referred to in hushed terms — began to emerge.

Those early rumblings quickly become the film’s central thread. What followed was the public launch of Nakamoto Corporation, which was formed by A Reverse merger with KindlyMD and backed by a capital raise of approximately $710 million – at the time among the largest PIPE financings ever associated with a digital asset company.

The documentary aims to capture the full arc of a four-year cycle, which included the highs and lows of launching a Bitcoin company public, the calm that comes with SEC obligations, and the flexibility required to navigate a bear market while executing a multi-entity consolidation strategy.

“I’m glad you captured it on camera so people can see the raw passion that goes into this work,” Nakamoto CEO David Bailey said on the live desk. “A lot of people say that Bitcoin people were lucky… This documentary shows the conviction you need to be a Bitcoin trader.”

A release window of winter 2027 has been discussed, although the project could extend into 2028 depending on how the broader cryptocurrency market cycle goes.

The film is expected to be a feature-length film with the possibility of being distributed via the streaming platform. Worthington and the team expressed interest in packaging it as a standalone piece before exploring any series format.
