The Layer-3 protocol enables AI agents to execute non-invasive limit orders, TWAP, stop loss, and take profit swaps across more than 25 DEX integrations, supported by over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume.

Celestial bodiesToday, the Layer-3 blockchain infrastructure protocol announced the launch of SPOT (Spot Advanced Swap Orders). This trading interface is specifically designed for Artificial intelligence agents. SPOT allows these independent agents to execute advanced on-chain trading types, including non-invasive market orders, limit orders, TWAP, stop loss, take profit, and deferred start swaps across any EVM-compatible chain. He does so without risking detention.

Unlike traditional DeFi interfaces designed for human users, SPOT consists of hosted raw markdown files: SKILL.md, Quickstart, parameters, examples, and lifecycle documentation, accessible via Multilateral consultative process, npmand Orbs GitHub repository. These files are formatted so that AI agents and large language models can read, parse, and act on them directly. The interface requires no front-end interaction and is immediately compatible with proxy frameworks and standalone trading systems.

Ran Hammer, Chief Business Officer at Orbs, points out, “AI agents are becoming active participants in DeFi, but the infrastructure hasn’t caught up. SPOT is our answer to this gap, a purpose-built interface that agents can read, understand, and act on without any translation layer. We’re not modifying human tools; we’re building natively to the way agents actually work.”

SPOT is powered by the Orbs suite of Layer-3 trading protocols, which has processed over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume and generated over $3 million in protocol revenue since its launch. The network currently supports over 25 cross-chain decentralized exchange integrations and is secured by over one billion staked ORBS tokens.

The core protocols, dLIMIT, dTWAP, Liquidity Hub, Perpetual Hub, and dSLTP, are already in production. This means that agents using SPOT execute trades against live, proven infrastructure rather than demo contracts.

SPOT offers an organized collection of documents hosted on github that agents use as part of their context. From a single SKILL.md entry point, an agent can find quick start instructions, parameter references, signing flows, trade lifecycle documentation, and a token address book. This provides everything needed to create and deliver valid cross-chain commerce without human assistance.

Supported order types include non-custodial EVM swaps, limit orders, time-weighted average price (TWAP) execution, stop-loss and take-profit triggers, and deferred start swaps. All orders are verified by the Orbs Signed Oracle, which independently validates the execution parameters before any transaction is signed and broadcast on-chain.

The launch of SPOT coincides with AI-based trading and independent financial agents moving from concept to real use in cryptocurrency markets. As LLM-based systems improve their ability to manage portfolios and execute transactions, demand for infrastructure that can be read by agents is growing. Orbs aims to position SPOT as the core infrastructure for this change, providing an open interface that any developer or agent framework can integrate.

The SPOT interface is also included in ClawHub, a new guide to agent-compatible tools and skills, and is also indexed in resources such as MCP servers are awesomeAnthropic MCP Registry, and LobeHub.

Spot available now. Developers and build agent frameworks can access the full documentation at orbs-network.github.io/spot. The interface is open and permissionless, and does not require any API key or registration.
