TotalEnergies EP Congo, a subsidiary of French energy giant TotalEnergies, has made a new hydrocarbon discovery off the coast of Congo, Africa.
TotalEnergies hydrocarbon discovery in Moho Offshore licensing in Congo follows drilling MHNM-6NFW Well explored, targeting the Moho G structure.
The French player claims that the well encountered a hydrocarbon column of approximately 160 meters in good quality Albian reservoirs.
According to the company, an extensive data acquisition and sampling campaign has been undertaken to support subsurface interpretation and future development.

TotalEnergies EP Congo is the operator of the Moho license with a 63.5% share, alongside Trident Energy (21.5%) and Société Nationale Petroleum de Congo (SNPC, 15%).
