Verosoft operates the enterprise mining platform for SMPC operations

Verosoft, a Canadian software company, has enabled its partner Microsoft PASI to secure Semirara Mining and Power by providing the Mobi EAM The Asset Guardian (TAG) solution that extends Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central into enterprise-level asset-intensive environments traditionally dominated by large ERP and EAM platforms.

Verosoft positions itself as a global software company dedicated to helping asset-intensive companies achieve operational excellence through intuitive and intelligent technologies. The company’s flagship product, TAG Mobi EAM, enables organizations to manage, maintain and optimize physical assets across the manufacturing, facilities management, renewable energy, mining and power generation sectors.

The Canadian enterprise asset management provider has demonstrated how Business Central can support complex industrial operations when enhanced with specialized industry solutions. Verosoft’s TAG Mobi EAM software has enabled PASI to move beyond mid-market deployments into enterprise-level projects serving the energy and mining sectors.

Deployment ranges from 50 to 2000+ users

Verosoft supported a deployment that started with about 50 users to create asset structures and maintenance processes, then expanded to include more than 2,000 users across TAG Mobi and Business Central. The company helped create a replicable deployment model for partners targeting the energy, mining and other industrial sectors, with additional expansion planned across SMPC operations.

SMPC operates open pit coal mines on Semerara Island and coal-fired power plants in Calaca, Batangas, Philippines. A vertically integrated energy and mining company needed a scalable ERP-EAM system capable of supporting maintenance execution and asset management across geographically remote and operationally complex environments while maintaining a single Microsoft-based platform.

Old systems are pushing for modernization

Verosoft’s solution addressed SMPC modernization for maintenance operations to support future expansion. Legacy systems required extensive customization and provided limited support for asset hierarchies, creating challenges in standardizing preventative maintenance across mining fleets, power plants and offshore assets.

Verosoft’s Asset Guardian Mobi EAM provides enterprise asset management capabilities without over-customization while keeping all essential ERP data, financial data and key records within Business Central. Verosoft specialists provided field cooperation with PASI during the implementation that began in December 2025.

The results span multiple processes

The Verosoft platform has enabled improved preventive maintenance in mining, energy production, electricity distribution and marine operations. The solution provided increased visibility into asset lifecycle costs from acquisition to maintenance and decommissioning, supporting SMPC’s progress from pilot to full deployment across all extraction sites and power plants within five months.
